Only those you have authorised are permitted to collect your child from HASCAP. If someone other than the appointed persons will be collecting your child, you need to advise staff either by phone or written notice. If this is not done, then, for your child’s safety, we are obliged to keep your child in our care until you have been contacted for consent.

Signing your child in and out
We ask that all children are signed out each day using the book located on the supervisor's desk. If attending the morning-care programme, you will need to sign your child in.
Emergencies and first aid
Our staff are trained to deal with emergencies and to administer basic first aid. In the case of a serious accident involving your child the staff will contact you and arrange any necessary urgent medical treatment, with the financial cost resting on you, the parent.
Please advise the Supervisor of any situation which could disturb the child and/or medical or other relevant conditions.
Please do not send along sick children, as we do not have the facilities to care for them. If a child becomes ill during programme hours, parents will be called and asked to collect them.
We aim to ensure that children experience a safe, secure and happy environment, being treated with dignity and respect. Every effort will be made to ensure that your child settles into the programme. However, any child whose behaviour is consistently harmful to others, or shows reckless disregard for property or persons, their parents will be asked to remove the child from the programme.
HASCAP notices will appear in the school newsletter from time to time. Most notices will be on the blackboard/notice board in our facility.
